Wipro, HPE Team Up: New GenAI Solution Aims to Slash Resolution Times

By Greg Tavarez

Wipro, perceived as a visionary force in the tech industry, is carving a path toward a future built on innovation. They are the trusted advisors and collaborators businesses turn to when navigating complex digital transformations. Their strength lies in the toolbox they offer that includes consulting, design, engineering and operations expertise.

With a global team of over 230,000 professionals, they help businesses not just survive, but thrive in today’s digital landscape. Together, they unlock sustainable growth and translate bold ambitions into reality.

Now, in a move to improve the customer experience and operational efficiency, Wipro entered a partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and unveiled a collaborative GenAI solution.

The solution, housed within Wipro's new Customer Experience Center at their Kodathi Cloud Studio, uses Wipro's Smart Operations platform alongside HPE's Machine Learning Development Environment.

Field tests indicate the solution can potentially halve MTTR for GenAI applications, reduce incident volume by 30% and boost overall equipment effectiveness. This translates to faster problem-solving, fewer disruptions and improved operational excellence.

“The co-creation of this GenAI platform is a testament to our longstanding strategic partnership with HPE and to our unwavering commitment to delivering advanced AI solutions within our new Customer Experience Center,” said Jo Debecker, managing partner and global head, Wipro FullStride Cloud. “This practice-specific center will showcase the potential of HPE Machine Learning Development Environment along with Wipro’s cutting-edge solutions."

The solution caters to industries like finance, healthcare and manufacturing, which rely heavily on customer service, IT support and efficient operations. Notably, it offers clients flexibility by allowing them to choose from various LLMs based on their specific business needs.

“Wipro’s deep technical expertise and HPE’s AI technology are a powerful combination that will accelerate time to value for our customers,” said Marc Waters, senior vice president, Global Sales, HPE. “By including HPE Machine Learning Development Environment as part of Wipro’s GenAI customer experience, we will enable customers to develop and deploy AI models faster by integrating with popular machine learning frameworks and simplifying data preparation.”
