Fractal.
Eugenie.ai.
Let’s talk about them.
Fractal provides advanced AI and analytics solutions that empower human decisions. Fractal uses generative AI to instantly turn documents into customizable Q&A bots, to generate code documentation and convert natural language into SQL, for semantic searches, cross-functional marketing, context-rich summarization capabilities and much more. (Check out the full list here.) And that’s just via GenAI, by the way; Fractal also tangos with cognitive automation, conversational AI, and purpose-built ML for industries like manufacturing, energy, retail, financial services, healthcare and insurance.
Eugenie is a SaaS-based emissions intelligence platform that enables asset-heavy manufacturers to track, race and reduce Scope I emissions (while impactfully improving operational KPIs). Behind the Eugenie curtain, so to speak, is an eclectic group of self-described data artists, engineers, marketers and designers that all share a common goal – optimize operations to thrive sustainably. That’s the key; with AI-powered digital twin technology, organizations can streamline their high-emitting assets and processes (in terms of de-carbonization efforts) for increased productivity without contributing to any further environmental harm. (After all, “industrial” and “sustainability” are two words that can coexist in the same sentence, when done right.)
There’s your contextual backdrop.
Now, the news at hand:
Fractal recently announced its merger with Eugenie.
According to the official announcement, “The merger of Eugenie reinforces Fractal’s commitment to harnessing the power of AI to address global challenges, and it underscores a shared dedication to sustainability and innovation. By integrating Eugenie’s expertise in climate-focused AI, Fractal aims to expand its portfolio and deliver even greater value to its clients and communities worldwide.”
Srikanth Velamakanni, a co-founder of Fractal and its Group Chief Executive & Vice Chairman, shared an ambitious take regarding Eugenie going forward.
“We are very excited to welcome Eugenie into the Fractal family,” Velamakanni expressed. “Eugenie's cutting-edge AI technologies and their commitment to combating climate change align perfectly with our vision to leverage AI for social good. Together, we aim to accelerate the development and deployment of innovative solutions that address some of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time.”
