GenAI, Demystified: Learn More at Generative AI Expo 2025

By Alex Passett

Generative AI is on so many folks’ radars these days, and it makes sense — GenAI is shaking the status quo, and it has impressive cross-industry applications six ways to Sunday, in a manner of speaking.

In healthcare, GenAI can enhance how medical professionals go about taking and assessing X-rays and MRIs. Researchers can even tap into GenAI’s capabilities to find essential details for patients’ sensitive treatment plans, track the progression of diseases, and even work towards developing new medicine.

In manufacturing, professionals — engineers, project managers, what have you — can use GenAI to improve worker safety and operational efficiencies. We’re talking about automatically monitoring factory equipment for tracking potential malfunctions/predictive maintenance-related purposes, generating delivery schedules or best-case recommendations for suppliers, and creating a truly resilient supply chain.

In the software development space, GenAI can rapidly create, auto-complete and optimize code, serve as a learning tool for developers by translating programming languages in real time, and much more.

Examples abound, readers; GenAI can add great value for fintech and the entire banking industry, for advertisers, cybersecurity firms, you name it. According to sources like Salesforce, “nearly 6 in 10 users even believe they are on their way to mastering the technology.”

But see, that doesn’t mean that becoming a master is a must.

While technical experts may possess ultra-deep levels of understanding when it comes to underlying algorithms and the sheer complexity of training and harnessing AI, non-technical users still stand to benefit from understanding and utilizing GenAI resources. By demystifying the technology for themselves and grasping its core concepts, non-technical developers can begin to effectively collaborate with technical (and often, more AI-fluent) teams, identify potential applications within their domain, and contribute to the development of innovative GenAI-powered solutions.

And in that vein, there are plenty of accessible GenAI topics to explore at Generative AI Expo 2025, which will be taking place from February 11-13, 2025, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

And specifically (forgive me, I buried the lede just a bit here), attendees can join us for a session titled “Demystifying AI for Non-Technical Leaders” to learn more about the key factors to consider when a.) determining what generative AI can do for your business, and b.) what key factors should be considered to make the most informed decisions about your AI initiatives going forward.

Explore the ins and outs of Generative AI Expo (part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW experience) — including info on responsible GenAI ethics, deployment and scalability, regulatory and legal considerations and more — by clicking here.
