Chargezoom Raises $11.5M, Supports Businesses' Accounting Needs with AI-Powered Data Enrichment Engine

By Alex Passett

According to Chargezoom, its experts “are leading the digital transformation of B2B payment automation,” particularly for businesses that are a.) open to AI-powered initiatives, and b.) actively looking for more sophisticated (and stress-free) accounting solutions. With just a few clicks, teams can tap into the accessibility of Chargezoom and “spend 50% less time” on accounts receivable (AR) admin work; they’re able to gain data-driven insights, they can automate their billing and invoicing, payment reminders, payment reconciliation and more — all via a simple, self-service interface.

“Together,” per a statement from Chargezoom, “we believe we can empower the 40+ million businesses in the United States who use QuickBooks, FreshBooks, or Xero to immediately transform the way they think about payments and improve their real-time payments to scale their businesses.”

The long-story-short version, readers?

Powered by an extensive, proprietary dataset, Chargezoom uses AI and machine learning to make invoicing, cash flow, and customer payments as seamless as possible.

And recently, this Utah-based company made a big announcement:

Chargezoom announced that it successfully raised $11.5 million in Series A funding. This round was led by Salt Lake City’s Kickstart Fund. New investors also include Early Light Ventures, Frazier VC, Adly, SaaS Venture Capital, Motley Fool Ventures, Stout Street Capital and Okapi Venture Capital.

"Chargezoom is leveraging AI and machine learning to solve crucial needs in the payment space that we're not seeing anywhere else," explained Alex Soffe, General Partner and CFO, Kickstart Fund. “We're excited to support their mission to automate AR for growing businesses.”

Since this funding, Chargezoom has reportedly grown by a whopping 3,972%, driven by its mission to simplify customers’ payments and accelerate cash flow for businesses across the U.S. (i.e. equipping teams with intelligent automation resources that simplify AR for businesses that need more efficient, agile processes).

“We’re so thrilled to be moving forward with a team of investors that share our values and are fully committed to our mission of being the market leader in AR automation,” added Matt Dubois, founder and CEO, Chargezoom.
