Generate More Accurate Outputs at Generative AI Expo 2025

By Greg Tavarez

Before generative AI became the buzzword on every business leader’s lips, innovation felt a bit like assembling a puzzle with pieces that didn’t quite fit. Sure, businesses had tools to analyze data, create marketing copy or optimize workflows, but the process often relied on rigid, one-size-fits-all systems.

Companies poured time and resources into custom solutions that rarely scaled, and creativity often hit roadblocks when the demands of speed and precision clashed. Innovation felt like a long game, and for many, it was slow and expensive.

Then came GenAI. Suddenly, businesses could use machine learning models capable of crafting text, generating images, coding software and even composing music. But these tools weren’t always tailor-made. They were great for a specific audience but less practical for those with unique needs. That’s where fine-tuning and transfer learning became the bridge between potential and perfection, to enable businesses to shape AI’s broad capabilities into solutions that fit their unique goals.

The possibilities expanded, and so did the questions: How can companies get more out of pre-trained AI models? What’s the secret to adapting these tools without breaking the bank?

Enter Generative AI Expo 2025 (taking place February 11-13 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) and one of its panel sessions, "Customizing Generative AI: Fine-tuning and Transfer Learning."

Scheduled for 4:00-4:45 PM on Tuesday, February 11, this session brings together two industry experts: Nicolas Fry, founder and CEO of Turbodocx, and Shomron Jacob, head of applied machine learning and platform at Iterate.ai.

In this session, attendees will discover actionable techniques to adapt pre-trained GenAI models to specific tasks and domains, making them not just useful but indispensable. Fry and Jacob will guide attendees through the art of fine-tuning models to generate outputs that are more accurate and relevant, whether you’re crafting customer experiences or accelerating R&D. They’ll also demystify transfer learning, a game-changing approach that can cut costs and development time without compromising quality.

Don’t miss this session. Register now.
