Qvest and NVIDIA: A Dynamic Duo for AI-Driven Media Solutions

By Greg Tavarez

AI has changed the way businesses operate. Automating tasks, analyzing data and providing insights only scratch the surface of what AI can do. For example, AI-powered chatbots can handle customer inquiries efficiently to free up human agents, and AI algorithms can analyze vast datasets to identify trends and patterns.

The long-story short of it? AI can help businesses optimize their processes, reduce costs, and gain a competitive edge in the market.

But what about media and entertainment companies? Do they benefit from AI?

Well, they can use AI to create more personalized and engaging content. AI-powered recommendation systems analyze user preferences and view history to suggest tailored content, and AI automates time-consuming tasks such as content moderation and distribution.

These are signs of good things. Still, there has to be a way to further improve AI’s capabilities for media and entertainment companies.

Enter Qvest.

Qvest supports companies holistically in their digital transformation with innovation, consulting and technology implementation services to achieve future-oriented change. And now, this media consulting and systems integration firm has joined up with NVIDIA to create innovative AI-powered solutions that enhance revenue generation, customer engagement and operational efficiency.

The partnership with NVIDIA combines Qvest's deep understanding of media and entertainment with NVIDIA's AI capabilities and technology platform. This synergy will result in advanced AI-driven solutions that empower companies to get the most out of GenAI.

Using NVIDIA's AI technologies, Qvest is developing GenAI offerings within its Applied AI practice. These offerings target key business challenges faced by media companies, helping to increase productivity, foster creativity and optimize processes. One such GenAI solution streamlines content management and creation within existing media workflows.

Key features include:

  • Automated Metadata Tagging: Reduces manual cataloging time and costs by automating metadata tagging across text, audio and visual content.

  • Accelerated Content Discovery: Enables users to quickly find relevant content within video assets.

  • Empowered Content Generation: Generates and iterates on headlines, scripts and narratives in seconds.

NVIDIA NIM inference microservices also play a role in this collaboration by providing a seamless platform for hosting GenAI models. Companies can choose to run these models in the cloud or on-premises.

“By combining NVIDIA’s AI platform with Qvest’s industry expertise, Qvest is empowering customers to quickly move from idea to scalable implementation using the latest developments in AI,” said Richard Kerris, Vice President of Media and Entertainment at NVIDIA.

Additionally, Qvest's commitment to the partnership extends to future plans of integrating NVIDIA Holoscan for Media, an AI-enabled platform for live media. This integration will further enhance the capabilities of GenAI infrastructure to improve security, reduce costs, boost performance and minimize operational overhead.
